CARNUT Social Distancing "Fun Run"
On Monday 5/11 the Car Nuts will hold it's first and I hope last, "Social Distancing Fun Run".
IDEA: Drive our cars with no social contact, not get out of our cars and not have lunch together.
PURPOSE: Drive by many of our sponsors to thank them for helping us and get attention from the community. We will have our Car Nuts signs to put on the cars for those who wish to do so. I have made up "Thank You" signs to hold as we pass by the sponsors. Beeping horns and playing loud music would be fun!
I will call the sponsors on the route to let them know we are coming and I will thank them for their support while on the phone call with them.
WHERE AND WHEN: We will meet about 9:15 a.m. in front of Ross in the shopping center off I-19 and Nogales Hwy. Our an anticipated departure will be 9:30 a.m. The route will take less than an hour so the heat should not be extreme.
ROUTE: Carol will prepare a list of the sponsor's names and addresses for each vehicle. Carol will provide everyone a "not to scale" map for your convenience.
