Club Donation presented !

The Santa Cruz Valley Car Nuts donated $40,000 to the Sahuarita Unified School District April 24.  The donation will be divided between the automotive technologies Pima JTED program and the Pima First Sahuarita Wins Scholarship program, which is earmarked for Sahuarita graduates enrolled in automotive technologies courses at Pima Community College.  The Pima Foundation, which runs the scholarship program, will match 50% of the donation, turning the $20,000 donation into $30,000.   Ray Paradis, president of the Car Nuts, said the $40,000 came from sponsorships and entry fees from the 29th Annual Sahuarita Classics Car Show in January, and is the largest donation the group has ever made.
