| ~ PRESIDENTS CORNER~ July 2026 Update “Thanks to all who attended the July 14 monthly membership dinner. I received many positive comments about the evening and it seemed like everyone had a good time. Again, our thanks to Chef Nim, Exalted Ruler Ken and the rest of the Elks Lodge staff, who made a wonderful meal and a great experience for everyone. The menu has four different rotating options and so we will continue this program to add more variety. Please try to encourage or invite other members who have not been attending for sometime. This evening event is especially trying to attract members who have been unable to attend due to schedule conflicts or work hours. Mark Simos and the rest of the Sahuarita Classic car show team are hard at work preparing all of the different aspects of the January 2027 show. We definitely need more volunteers as we get closer to the event and so please consider making yourself available to help in some manner. Mark, myself and others are also trying to schedule some smaller events, such as a cars&coffee at Pasada Java, and Classic Car Garage. Please be on the lookout for an upcoming event that I am going to schedule at Hot Rods on Vail. We are also resuming the Culver's cars and custard cruise in for August 7. Hopefully the temperatures will begin to decline a little bit and more outdoor activities can be planned. I am definitely enjoying my role as president and getting to know so many more of you than before. Take care and stay cool! Troy
